[FS - NSW] 1971 Lowlight (Rat Look) Plates 71VWLL == SOLD SOLD

I bought this bus with the intention of doing a complete resto but now need to fund other priorities. I am resounded to the fact I will not make my money back on the sale for the $$ spent so far.

Okay so he might not look pretty but this increasingly popular 'rat' Kombi boosts an Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) 1916cc 'Performance' engine that has no problem hitting 110kms on the open road and actually passes cars up hills !!!

Registered until Jan 2013 (Plates included in the sale), you can only imagine the $$$ spent already including the following:

'Brand spanking new' 1916cc Engine with less than 5000kms (already run in)
'Wolf' EFI computer unit
IRS Lowered beam with new suspension
Conversion to 5-stud wheel pattern (ready for those Porsche wheels !!)
Completely reconditioned brakes
New muffler
Rock 'n' Roll Bed fitted (could do with a re-upholstery) Note: Vehicle actually registered as an 8-seater !!!
Rust repaired including front floor and other usual problem areas (see pics)
New petrol tank sender
Replaced speedo cluster (now in km's not miles)
New key ignition
Fixed all door mechanism includes front and rear door, although side door plays up every so often.

Also including in the sale are:
Exterior windscreen sunvisor (see pics)

All you have to do now (if you so wish) is give it a nice lick of paint, interior and you'll have a very nice looking car.

Location: Katooomba Sydney NSW
Contact: Khris via PM or (0416) 566 245 for more info.

Interstate buyers to arrange transport is at their buyers expense.

All reasonable offers considered if you appreciate what it means to have a 'lowlight' Kombi parked in your driveway.
