Volkswagen program on Austar

Can anyone recall when the turbomax channel started on Austar they gave us a couple of weeks/1 month preview before charging for it, there was a program about beetles/vw's. I remember there was a guy doing up a bug with a LH to RH conversion and a young feller who joined a club and everyone came around for a barbie and rebuilt his engine for him. Does anyone remember what the show was called?

They have done three shows one on a 70's semi custom beetle, a late 60's split camper, put a turbo charger in that one and a 54/55 oval the last one has a bit more on the UK VW seen they even visit the States and check things out VW wise over there. Good shows, the last two revolve around a VW shop called Race Shack, from a previous post the Race Shack crowd no longer exist.

Any show with VWs on TV is a good show I reckon!

Yeah I checked on Youtube after Rodz told me the title. Great series to watch. Much as I hate rust theres something special about seeing a new panel being welded in

Seen them all good show, 2 X on Beetles the first revolves around a 54/55 rag resto has some great stuff on the UK VW scene and includes a visit to USA. The second on a 70 Beetle German look(sort of) resto. As far as I know only one on a Split Kombi camper that gets a turboed engine in it.

The shop Race Shack where they do all the repairs has now gone I seem to recall from a previous thread>

Good shows I reckon, worth the watch!
