Gotta GO, boohoo
I have aquired a '78 Kombi with a 2l motor. I will be putting this 2l into my '75 Microbus and putting the '75Microbus 1800 into the
'78 (basically entire Motor and Gearbox swap over). The '78 Kombi has a ding in the rear (not severe but a good one) and it's a little
shagged throughout (previous owner's neglect, Bastard ).
I was wondering how much this '78 would be worth for re-sale.
Thanks Guys and Girls, Take care.

So it's going to be a complete running '78 kombi with an 1800 motor?
What condition is the motor in?
What's the body like for rust?
What model is it?
How many seats?
Does it have any features such as opening 1/4 vent windows, rear sliders, bullbar, towbar, etc?
Got any photos?

Yes it is going to be a Running.
The 1800 going into it has got 115psi RightBank
105psi Left bank
The motor does not blow smoke and I have fully serviced it. The carbie Main butterflies (34 PDSIT's) are flogged but not causing any
concerns
The clutch is going, but still working if driven with care.
No rust to cause concerns, lots a little surface rust (typical as I have seen a few with it)
It is a 234
suppose to be an Eight seater but only got the middle seat with it. It has genuine full height front seats But the drivers springs are shot (Damn
it!!)
It has these genuine 1/2 sliders in the rear. They are in the sliding door and opposite side. They are spilt in half (Lengthways and have spring
loaded catches) I beleive they are genuine as I have seen them before but all others have looked real dodgy But These look like they are Right, if
that makes sense.
Has the usual lack of bits due to 234 model.
I will have photos soon. I think it could be worth $500, Any thoughts??
Thank You,
