71 super bug bolt torque
Finally my dad has nearly got my bug ready for painting (18mths). Is there somewhere he can find the torque settings for all the bolts when he puts
it back together. Dont want it to fall apart, last time he drove it it went up in flames.
Thanks

It would be a good idea to purchase a manual for your car, this will contain all the bolt torque settings that you will require and has a lot of other
information that will come in handy over the time you have the it.

Yes,
check out ebay or go to swap meets- always manuals for sale
although some good bargains on ebay at times...
one book to start is the Australian Gregory's manual no 45
for super beetles 1971 -75 -- even new are not expensive
Robert Bentley Volkswagen of America workshop manuals are also good to have.. New about $100 so look on ebay-
many other Chiltons and many Haynes manuals and autobooks..
cheers
