Nice blue milk crate.
You can get replacement panels here:

Or find a good type 3 floor pan cut it out & have it replaced. Quick fix would be to get a panel welded in.

thanks for the heads up on the floor panels - $500 is bit steep?!?
I think i'll just weld in some sheet metal.
engine is now removed - probably will do gaskets.
what else should I do now I have the engine out?
apparently its rebuilt - any way to check?
motor just taken out
missing the powerplant
