You're a crazy man! I did Australia Post parcel delivery in my bug once, but only once! My other car was out of action that day, so I took the bug.
Cramming it full of Post boxes was hard work, with no rear doors or bootlid! The front luggage compartment is too shallow to take an Australia Post
box, so they all had to go inside the car. It couldn't hold anywhere near as many boxes as my usual car, so I had to go back to the depot for a
second trip!

You're a machine. I did pizza delivery in an mx5 for a couple of years. So nice in summer, but how you could do it in a bug is beyond me.
But Yes, the servo compliment is always appreciated, makes you feel like you're making people happy

Why? They're reliable and easy to drive. I would have thought that the MX-5 would be a lot worse for pizza delivery because it's so low, climbing in
and out of it all the time would be much harder than getting in and out of a bug.

umm... my beetle is quite low lol, I can barely make a coke can.
while I do enjoy people liking the car... problem lies with the fact that they'll remember the car.. which is bad if I deliver cold pizza

Always have to leave early as filling up at the servo usually takes half and hour because there is ALWAYS someone that wants to tell their story.
I would love to know how many people have a photo of El Concreto on their phone, we are forever getting photos taken when driving or parked up.

Hi
My 1st car was austerity model 63 bug , yes I'm an old fart, I bought it 1971 for $500, it seemed like an old car then but was only 8 years old.
I often get bailed up in servos or talked to in traffic by people, they often say my 1st car was a Beetle, I can so was mine.

Just filling up yesterday, I had an older (70's)dude come up to me and say what a terrible car a Beetle is. Too dangerous with the petrol tank in
front!

I would have said how dangerous it is having 70 odd year old men on the road, you know, with their failing eye sight, hearing and slow reaction time!
