deep sump


hey guys will be running a turbo on my t1 1835 manx just putting it out there what size extended sump would you run and does any one have any experiance on su's

Don't know, but I've just removed a deep sump from my 1600 TP if you need one.

depends what you want the extended sump for;

I'm using a pobjoy anti-surge sump and the engine never looses oil supply; it doesn't add much capacity but works a treat.

If you looking for more oil capacity you should consider a berg sump but if you want it to have anti-surge ability some modifications need to be done; search the net for Hellbug

can any one tell me what size sump i should get donn is nice enough to offer his it carrys around 1 1/2 ltre extra would this be enough when running a turbo plus oil cooler any comments would help greatly many thanks stevo
