thanks , Dave .
Dean has done a lot of work on his motor over the past 2 months and it made good power . I offered Dean my slicks for Warwick but he refused , saying
he wanted to race it as he drives it on the street . street tyres , ratios , 10.1 comp & 98ULP fuel , full interior . He drove it in the strret
parade and between runs I sent him into town to get me some polish for the Ghia .
He ran 8.1sec with wheelspin all the way thru 1st gear , I have no doubt that he would have run high 7's if he used the slicks . Damn fast NA
streeter if you ask me .....

WPVW vid of Simon "Humpty" Thompson in the WPVW sports sedan @ Warwick 2012
WPVW guest driver for the Warwick VW drags 2012 was Simon "Humpty" Thompson from Perth WA . Simon flew over for this years event and had the fortune
of jumping into a fully prepared (and fueled) high performance WPVW vehicle .
So quick was the car that it left the line many times before Simon did .... this must be the cause of all those red lollypops . lol

thanks guys , but the credit for the great quality vids this year must go to my son Dean . I am very fortunate to have him at my shop with me as he is
on a break from his pilots cadetship with Jetstar . Early next year he will disappear with the rest of his class and spend 3 months in London ,
training in the A320 air-bus simulator .... very proud of him and my whole team for such team spirit
