FS VIC small single wheel trailer
Perfect extra boot for behind a bug or type 3!
I got this not long ago and have just done a 400km round trip with it behind my Volvo. Unfortunately it is just too small for what I want to use it
for so I am hoping someone will find more use for it.
Being a single wheel trailer the rear wheel is a mini 10" wheel on a castor arrangement with 3 attachment points onto the back of the car so that it
follows the car exactly, unlike a normal trailer.
You will have to make your own outer brackets on your towbar but I am happy to show you how I did it on my car, pretty straightforward with some solid
angle iron.
Trailer is built tuff, supposedly did many outback trips behind a subaru years ago. The bit of ply on top is 1200x900 to give a sense of size. I
have fitted brand new taillights but the wiring needs wrapping and better location, I just fitted it quickly to test the trailer out. Brand new 7 pin
round plug too and a couple of near new tyres.
Could do with a complete strip and repaint and some marine ply on top but usable as is (as I proved driving to Shepparton and back today).
Located in Ringwood if anyone is interested, asking $250 as it owes me more. contact via PM preferred.
