Boring cold day in Melb

So what else is there do but surf the net for VW stuff.
Heres a nice old accessory gas heater brochure for Oval era beetles. Cool artwork I reckon.

These new fangdangled gas BBQ's in parks are no good to keep warm by:jesus

Luckily there was a good big rotunda type shelter with the BBQ in it cos it rained most of the time

Jay's Wolf has good heaters so we were toasty in the car

Just got home and I'm sure we just had a big shower of sleat, brrrrrrr!!!!!!

Heater is now on:bounce:bounce

Hot coffee and the puter for me now:rudolf

Hey smilies have been rearranged, thought for a minute we may have scored some new ones nad went along the lines to check:cussing:P

Yeah, I noticed the sleet too. Did a dash from the car port so I didn't get too wet.

Nah Jen, just the stocker heater :) Just very effective! No rust in the heater channels I guess.

Well, stocker heater is good, no rust makes it even better:)

We needed someone there today with one of those 'Stationary Heaters', that stayed warm, in their VW so we could all stand around and keep our hands warm like in the first pic.:thumb

Were they out here in VW's

Spewing I couldn't make it to the econorun, I had the Scouts over all weekend rebuilding a trailer in my shed. They're turning my old SEC trailer with rotten floorboards into a nice steel-floored trailer with a removeable weatherproof box for their camping gear. :thumb

Unfortunately with all the rain we had, combined with the traffic of parents stopping by to check on progress, my driveway has now turned to slop. I nearly get bogged just driving to the shed now! :o

I've been doing my mileage since the engine rebuild, and I seem to be averaging about 15l/100kms, but I haven't had it tuned properly yet (my attempts don't count! ;))
