I was thinking today ive seen alot of Herbie vw's at shows and just wondering has anyone made a replica of the evil Horace from the love bug and if there is are there any in Australia?

The two originals are still kicking around in the USA (one is for sale at the moment)
I don't think theres any proper replicas anywhere though.




Call stockers boring if you want, but VW sure sold a lot of them that way

^^^ I had heard the same... that there were two speedway beetles that used to race in NSW that were made as Herbie and Horace...

I was at nerang in gold coast years and years back when i was about 10 and im 16 now.

At the maccas there one day i saw a horace bug and a herbie bug parked side by side.

Never saw either of them again though and that was when i lived there.

I was just talking about this the other day!

Too many Herbie's on the road, not enough Horace's!
Someone needs to get an L bug and turn it into Horace.
Think a L would look pretty sweet as Horace.

exactly what i thought seb but if someone was to make a replica would it be able to be registed on australian road with how the windows are and the front bumper

I doubt it would be able to be registered. I guess it would just be a show car.
