The 'Deep Hole', between Kangaroo Point and Tom Ugly's bridge.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

yep the 2 fish n chip shops on Princes hwy at Tom Uglys you can tie the boat up there only a short walk up the road
I think you may be better around Cooks Bridge or even out into the Bay a little

catching anything? be sure to put up pictures.
Maybe this is a time to share my opinion of fishing in NSW. Its unfortunate that primary industries charge people (or else persecute) for the simple
freedom of throwing in a line for a bit of a fish. Particularly when luck in catching anything substantial is no where near like the 'ol' days'.
Mind you, my experience is only limited to the Mid North Coast of NSW and my grandfather's old time stories
I understand that the money goes to a good cause, but still...

Went out from 5.30am till 2pm, caught 3 tailor and 3 flathead all undersized. That's all folks. Nice hot day though, jumped in the river tasted like
diesel, I think the hawkesbury is a lot cleaner. A lot of rich people live along that river, jeez there are some nice houses.

No way would I jump in! There are nastier things in that river than diesel......have you checked to make sure you don't have any limbs missing????
