Now it just needs a good whack with the lowering stick. Also have a nice ratty rack to put on it, just have to sort out some brackets for it.

Thanks mate. They are repro porsche 356 grilles and blinkers. The factory grilles had been welded up when I got the car so I figured it was a good chance to try something different. I was freakin out when I cut the holes, measured them about 10 times befor I cut them lol.

It Looks awesome vwvic.
Wish I was heading over to the pie run. I'm going to be stuck here working but I might take my bug to our club Chrissy party on Sunday. If there is a pie run in January I might take her over at Christmas and go to the pie run. I'm off work until the 6th of Jan. Just don't hold your breath I'm not very organised. LOL

I've finally got the rack on. Had to modify it a bit, the mounts were too wide so had to cut and re-weld them.
It has been giving me a bit of engine trouble lately though.the carby kept getting blocked up so after two carby rebuilds and a new fuel filter i found there was a lot of rust on the inside of the fuel tank that was blocking up the fuel system.
Removed the tank dropped a length of chain in there and shook in round for about half an hour, took about 8 litres of fuel to get it all flushed out. So far its been working well.

Looks good mate.
I am not a rat expert by any measure, but will you be lowering it at all?
Rob.

thanks guys
It's taken some work to get it to this stage, I'm loving driving it I use it as my daily.
It will defiantly be getting lowered when time and funds permit. I'm not happy with the front tire profile so I'll be changing them too.
The type 3 is my sisters car, it's slammed pretty good.
