Subarugears Pinion Depth Tool for DIYers
For those customers wishing to set up their own reversed Subaru transmissions, a Pinion Depth tool is needed in order to set up the initial location
of the pinion gear in the case.
The pinion depth tool locates into the transmission case half and the wedge is slid between the pinion gear head and the depth tool. Appropriate shims
are added behind the pinion retaining bolts until the wedge reads zero.
The Subarugears Pinion Depth Tool is CNC laser cut and etched from high quality acrylic to assure perfect location and measurements every time.
Subarugears has tested this tool extensively with its own transmission builds.
