Mig Bottles
Hey All,
Does anyone have details about where to buy Mig bottles from?
I can't recall who was selling them in Sydney, as renting the things cost a fortune!
Cheers
D

Renting is $14 a month = $168 a year
The E size bottles hold 20 times what a disposable bottle holds
So renting $in a year $154 rental plus $80 E size gas = $248
Disposables is 20 x $50 = $1000
The important thing is to work out your rate of usage. If you use only a small amount of gas and often have months of non-usage then the disposables
will suit. If you use a lot of gas regularly, then the rental makes a lot of sense.

Helbus, I rented for a long time and in that time used it a fair bit also.
Now that I finished building my house, I'm setting up my garage and at the current rate I won't be welding as frequently as I used to thus the need
to purchase.
Between the wife, 4 kids and the dog , my free time isnt as free as it used to be so its going to be a matter of sneaking in a couple of hours here
and there where I can...
Slowly but surely I'll get there

I purchased a small bottle from the local gas supplier and it costs me $45 for a fill,I am like Flintstones and I probably might use about 1-2 bottles
a year so it works out for me. I rented cylinders for 30 years or so and BOC don't give any thing away.

yeah iv got a "G" bottle still left over from the shop, and costing a fortune on rent per moth, so seriously considering buying a D outright, makes
way more sense especially since im never going to stop using it...
