Formula Vee Come & Try’ Wakefield Park Day Sunday December 16, 2012

On Sunday December 16, the Formula Vee Association of NSW (FVANSW) will host a ‘Come & Try’ day at Wakefield Park.

This event is aimed to get new people into our sport by giving them the opportunity to experience first hand all the thrills and excitement of driving a Formula Vee racing car. No experience is required – only the enthusiasm and ambition to get involved in our great category and club.

How it will work…..
Some of FVANSW members will donate their Formula Vee cars for the day to allow those interested in being future club driving champions the experience of driving around Wakefield Park Raceway. This event will be held in conjunction with a Wakefield Park ‘Speed of the Street Day’. FVANSW will be allocated multiple track sessions throughout the day.

Entry Fee will be $100 per Come & Try driver plus each driver will need to comply with all terms and conditions associated with a Wakefield Park ‘Speed of the Street Day’. – see http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au  for further details. CAMS or AASA licence required. AASA annual licence available on the day at $50.

How to get involved…..
For anyone wanting to drive a Formula Vee on the day, they will need to register their interest by emailing cometry@fvansw.asn.au. Once a registration is received, one of our FVANSW organisers will make contact with them and provide further details and information. There is only a limited number of driver positions available, so if you want to get involved or know someone who will be interested, then get them to register asap.

For anyone wanting to assist with officiating on the day, or willing to donate their Formula Vee car, please contact Dylan Thomas asap on 0431 822 997.
