inally some progress, i got some wheels and some interior bits over the past months and have been collecting bits and tools to start on the pan
head.
built a BBQ as well
so saturday i started to take the body off the pan this would have been alot simpler if i had alittle more room but i got it done.
some more updates...
its starting to feel like this is going to be fairly big build up funny how things get out of hand.
before.
cleaned up alittle shows the bad stuff
and thats a couple of before shots hopefully have some afters in a few weeks.

today i took the plunge on an extra beam i have. 4inches taken out of the width and the shock towers sliced on the inside, next is to sort out the
adjusters and then put it back together.
its amazing the rust thats on the inside of the tower.

wow i havent been on here in ages so here is a bunch of updates all at once
Well i picked up another pan cause i really didnt feel to keen on doing the pan head swap on my other. I started stripping back the floors in prep for
painting and sound deadening. Im pretty happy with whats under all the crap
its had a little repair where the battery was but apart from that so far its really tidy. The floor was fairly bent up it had been moved with a
forklift but afew jumps and it popped back in to a better position.
then sometime passed
until this happened...
got my drop plates from atomwerk.
new front and rear tyres
shortened beam, moved towers to ends, made shock extenders (should have bought a new one) still have to strengthen it up.
started the mounts for the lower bag arms.
made my trans raise rear mount it will run the stock rubber mounts.
still unsure about the mid or just raise front mount, some info on running it all rubber mounted would be good if you have done it please?
how it sits with the rear mount in.

then afew more things happened....
slapped some paint on the front air shocks aas they arent brand new they looked worse than they do now.
i made up the rear lower bag mounts in this pic i was testing the radius of the risers i made so they would fit snug to the arms.
the top bag mounts are going to be similar to the ones made by airkewld i guess. this testing the bag bolt holes and height of the bridge for the
compressed bag.
just after i cut and tacked the gussets for the bridge still not fully welded in as i still suck at welding.
and anoher quick coat of paint of the lower arms forgetting im also making lower shock mounts that attach to this so some of this will need to come
off again LOL
now im still trying to work out what to do for the front mount of the tranny but the suspension side is starting to see the final stages.
