shock absorbers for lowered '59 beetle?
My shock absorbers are old and worn, and one is dripping fluid, so it's time to replace them all.
Different setups require different shocks, right? Ok, this is my setup:
'59 beetle
lowered about 2" at the back (using the spline method)
lowered about 2.5" at the front (AVIS ratchet adjusters in the beam)
front beam is stock width
stock anti-roll bar at the front
no anti-roll bar at the back (that's stock)
stock wide-5 rims with 165s
1600 motor
disk brake kit front and back (I don't think this is relevant)
I'm after a medium-feel ride: a bit firmer than stock, but not bone-jarring. The beetle is a daily driver, it never goes near a race track but I do
enjoy a fast tight corner.
Any advice about the right shock absorbers for my setup will be greatly appreciated!

not found anything over here but quite a few UK suppliers give tables for the right length sox to use on a lowered ride.
Pretty simple as you measure the shox mount points distances when on the floor and fully raised. Some suppliers just give the mid point of these
measurements and other give the 2 different lengths.
Then you just choose the shock closest too your measurements.
