Bug barn find

My dads good friend has this in his shed. We are negotiating a price.

I am a splitty man not really into the bugs but I wouldn't mind one and these and would make an awesome rat.

The number under the front is C11076 what year is it? I was hoping it was an oval...

What would something like this go for?

Looks fantastic!!!

I think the biggest influence on price will be the rust situation. If it has no structural rust. i.e. floors,. heater channels, etc,.. it's a winner.

Does it have log books with a documented history?

If you decide your really are a splitty man. Let us know.

HI, this is the same bug as mine, has the same interior also. but the outer stering wheel and gear shifter has been painted, radio was an option.
colour manly tan - this colour ran from 57-59
small tail lights, puts it at prior to mid 1960
That strering wheel type ended at the end of 1959

She's a 58-59

the body number quoted is the body batch number as at that time the bugs were put together in kit form still and we got the bodies sent out from germany in batches , the body serial numbers are still in world wide sequence though , the body build number is on the aluminium plate with the other info's. and it can be found on the body under the back seat near the gear change rod inspection cover.

the engine number will not match the body. by this year it should start with 24-26 roughly

Even through the haze, the interior looks to be in good condition.
