Started out with SSS Datsun 180B since then... 1984 AR ford telstar, 76 honda civic, 70 KE something corolla, 93 CC mitsubishi lancer, 97 CE lancer, 96 EF falcon, 90 something TR magna, 70 something notchback, 70 fastback, 73 fastback, 2 x 74 kombis. I was averaging more than one a year but sadly got married.

Mostly they were legendary cars except, the notchback was the first VW I bought and I got severely burnt. It didnt grace the drive for long. The Magna was a stupid thing to buy and lasted about 3 months (think I was trying to sell it for 2 of them). The falcon .. well... kinda on the fence about that one. For some reason the honda is my favourite car after kombi #1. The BEST one was lancer #1, which is why I have lancer #2.

I wouldnt mind adding a beetle to the list but the guy down the car yard is holding out on me, and now that I am getting the kombi back the mrs prolly wont let me get it anyway. I'll keep hassling just to see how I low I can screw a car salesman.

I will need to come back to this and update as I get time, but lets say I lost count around the thirty car mark and the same with motor bikes.......Might be easier to just leave it at that.

Now If we want to count company cars as well?
Lets see on average different car each week for the last 9 years, thats allowing for a break inbetween years where I had my own cars only.

So, to answer part of your question
a Goliath 1100 was a mid range high quality German saloon about the size of a type 3 it had frontwheel drive water cooled 11 FLAT FOUR engine, the transaxle was allmost identical to the Subaru but predated it by many years the car evolved thru badge engineering to become the Hansa 1100 & twin carb Hansa Tiger!!!!!!!!!!!!
