swing to irs convert


Hey guys what do I need to changes makeep my swing axle to irs?

Can anyone show/tell me the steps... is this a hard job to do on my 70 bug?

Not too hard if you can use a grinder and can weld. Easy if the body is off the pan too. I have a rear cut from a superbug which
is a complete housing, torsion bars, spring plates, trailing arms, brakes, shockers with all the bolts too.
I'll PM my details so we can hat about it when you are in Adelaide.

Where do I get that bracket from? Do I need to cut it from an irs rear and weld it on mine?

buy an IRS floor pan and convert

you see the odd rusted out 76 for $1000

Even if you have to change the pans you will be ahead
