Anti Vibration mounts for external oil cooler

Hi guys

I have a long anti vibration mount missing from the external oil cooler that was fitted above the gearbox in my 1967 beetle.

Does anybody know where I can get some of these??

I can only seem to find short stumpy ones....

Thanks
Regards
Greg

Hi Greg

I think http://www.mackayrubber.com.au/products/  have them, you would need to get your FLAPS to order them in.

Not the best place for that carter fuel pump dude. Should be up under the fuel tank - those pumps are best located so they can push fuel down the lines rather than suck. Most probably will lead to early failure.

Hi mate most two stroke motorbikes use them for expansion chamber mounts, they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes might be worth a look?

I just use GM ones, they pretty much exactly like those in the pic and are of better quality than most off the shelf ones. I think mckay make then too?

from holden, if they are still available if not try mckay ones as mckay make most of the aftermarket rubber parts these days.

or a wrecker, ask for VN- VS air box mounts, should be millions of them at a wrecker but new is always better.
