Help wiring on beetle


Hi all starting to bug back together cant find where black wire from to off generater goes and two long wires right side of motor not light wires can any one help thx

There is no black wire on the generator.

Black is + from the ignition switch. (15)
Goes to the coil, automatic choke and fuel cut off.




I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!:lol:

The long wires may be for the reverse lights,a 2 wire connector behind the fan and the wires godown to the switch ,perhaps a pic would help.

There is on 72 and later bugs.
It goes from D+ on gen cars and B+ on alternator cars to the diagnosis socket.
It doesnt do anything though, I used mine for my oil pressure gauge sender.
