Sydney Dragway Track Champs #4 Last Weekend
Just to let everyone know that I ran last Saturday at Sydney Dragway. It was my Test / Tune before the VW event next weekend
Only 2 Time trials were given to everyone as the weather was setting in and Management wanted to try and finish the meeting before the deluge
The Beetle repeated its Winternationals performances with a couple of 1.55 60' times and a 11.693 in the first Time Trial
The highlight of the meeting for me was running two 11.859 runs (to the thousandth) back to back. I lost in the first round when I over estimated my
dial in but there was only about a foot (30cm) in it at the finish line. I love close racing!!! I had to check the green light (past the finish line
just above the concrete wall) to see who won
Lots of luck to all next weekend and travel safe - H

Was the MPH up compared with WB Henry?
I read somewhere the WSID track is down hill by 4m compared with WB at 2m.
I like that.
Good to see you getting in lots of practise!

The Density Altitudes for both W/B and S/D were similar, ranging from -150 feet to about 1,000 feet
As to the MPH, they were within .4 MPH for all the similar time runs at both the Winters and Sydney (no real difference)
I guess, this is where the car is currently "happy" and consistent
As for the track, it is within the 1% allowed by ANDRA I believe
