| SALE OF THE BLUE CB RECENTLY ON EBAY

 Folks,

I understand the blue CB recently listed on Ebay has been purchased by a happy new owner out Glenmore Park NSW way. The vehicle will be restored and
road registered.

The vehicle had a bit of history in that the last owner had the unit for just on 20 years and it was used as a shooting buggy on a property out the
back of Newcastle NSW. The 1600 cc twin port was still running but the brakes were gone and needed full repair.

Before that the vehicle was owned by the Leyland Brothers ( Mike and Mal) and it was used in and around the Ayers Rock Restaurant replica at Tea
Gardens, north of Newcastle. The Leyland Brothers were very well known adventurers right across Australia and drove several Bay window Campervans over
15 years as part of their TV show. ( Just ask them).

This vehicle was relatively complete apart from original seats, steering wheel and rear tray. The original motor had well and truly expired.

It is one of the earliest produced CB with KO # 036 and still has the original pan and CB running gear. The Chassis # was 118315095.

Good to see another one going to get back on the road.

Yep is always good to see another one - but I don't think it was the original pan as it had the heater tap in the spine - unless they had those in
the earlier ones.

I believe it sold or $3000 so not bad considering

Good to see this has gone to a great home! I've seen this car in the flesh and can't wait to watch its development.
