Must be very tidy, very reliable, and with no rust..
Ideally would love duck egg blue, green, yellow or orange but will definately consider any colour..and if it has roofracks that would be an absolute
bonus
Year is not important as long as it is very reliable..
Needs to have Qld rego and an rwc..
I am genuinely looking to buy one this weekend, I am not a time waster if you have a beetle you genuinely want to sell, please contact me with the
details..
I am on the Gold Coast so it needs to be within around an hours drive from here..
Will pay around $8500 this weekend !!!

hi welcome to here
beetles
there are a few available for sale on here ATM and have been for weeks +
slow down and take time
unfortunatey "within an hours drive of 'sin city' the goldy" "must be this weekend" "tidy reliable no rot" etc blah blah.. Oh tyres, my toe
hurts..
take your time, no need to be in a rush?
open your horizons n your looking area and you will find a decent ride
these cars are over 35+ years old now n they all need tlc
it's admirable that you have your "wish list" but being old and reliable in the same sentence is a little fetching, they ALL need work and
especially maintenance.. it is a fact
which beetles that are for sale have you seen and test driven yet? any?
if you are realistic you will find a great beetle for your budget but please take your time and you will find a great one that's right for you
goodluck in your quest

Start by looking at the one's that are for sale and then you can guage condition/standard/value for money, then you can start to know whats is really
available and what suits your needs.
Mines been for sale for a few weeks, had plenty of sms, requests for emails been told how nice it is and had a few over the phone/sms offers etc. but
with all that have had one person request inspection. go figure......
Pease dont think that this is a go at anyone, more just a little help trying to get you into a VW that suits you.(And no it dosnt have to be mine)
best of luck mate.

i'd also suggest consider increasing your search field... for a car that is good (rust free etc) it can be worthwhile going interstate to fetch one
(especially if the car is actually rust free). There are a couple of tidy cars in NSW and VIC in the classifieds. But if I was in QLD I'd be checking
out this ( http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=94804 ) ...
Whatever you get expect to spend a little money especially if the plan is to make it a daily driver as most of these cars aren't being daily driven
anymore. Mine went from being daily driven, weekend driver, back to daily and I'm still finding a few things that need to be taken care of and I have
been using my RACV membership! All a part of life when daily driving a 53 year old car
Good luck with your search!

There's a few for sale on the GC at the moment, you just have to know where to look. 4 months isn't really that long to search for the right car.
What year is the yellow beetle, if it's a coast car I might know it.
Call stockers boring if you want, but VW sure sold a lot of them that way
