Kombi arse end lowering

Have read Joel's how to on Lowering a Bug rear, in particular what difference it makes moving 1 spline. Is there any info like this for a bay window? Trying to get mine back to standard height so I don't have to replace cv boots every 850 km:mad:

Feel free to call for advice Dave as I don't know of a Type 2 chart and the job is very easily done (and more accurate) with a tape measure when done well.
