Anti Vibration Mounts for Fresh Air Box Fan Blowers

Hi guys

I am rebuilding a few Fresh Air Box Fan Blowers and am wondering if there are any usable of the shelf replacement for the rubber slip in anti vibration mounts that are inside the unit. I know I can make some but if I can buy something off the shelf then that makes things easier.

I have attached a blow up diagram. The part number is # 12.

Thanks
Regards
Greg

That would be great Greg, as I have one of these boxes in the shed to retrofit into my '68 and it would be good if I can freshen it up a bit before installation.
BTW, do you know what part #8 is made of, as I didn't get those connectors when I bought my air box years ago at the wreckers
Cheers.......Wayne

Hi guys

Does anybody make/provide the 2 cables that go from the flap control knobs to the flaps or do I need to get them made?

Ok, I think I have figured out a very simple and cheap way to re manufacture the rubber anti vibration mounts that are inside the Fresh Air Box Fan Blower using off the shelf products.

Please see and read the attached photos.

Basically, I used Champion brand wiring grommets (BH004), some washer bottle tubing (it has an outside diameter of 5/16") from Clark rubber and some Super Glue..

Let me know if you need any additional information.

Regards
Greg

Here's a photo with approximate dimensions of the original anti vibration mounts.

No problem mate.

You can get all of the foam for the 2 internal flaps etc from Clark Rubber.

Have fun!

Let me know if I can of further help.

Regards
Greg
