fuel cap attachment


has anyone made or purchased a fuel cap attachment like you get in a modern car? you know so you cant loose it and it just dangles off to the side while your filling up.

Only came across one car with that, hated it as it got in the way all the time when fueling up coz the line was so short, about 80mm long.

I can't imagine being able to buy such an attachment? You could try make one with some ss braided wire or similar and would be better than the crap plastic strap they use on production cars.

when my square is back together ill give it a go and post it here. i thinking a coiled sprung wire coated in a polymer to stop it scratching or rattling.
