Bug tech shifter

Who has used (and abused) their bug-tech shifter?

They seem to offer a lot more options now on their facebook site ( https://www.facebook.com/raceshifter  ). For example - shorter / longer stick; straight / bent stick; 40% or 60% reduced throw.

I have a 63 Karmann and have just put in some Corbaeu seats ( http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/-p-150715940.html  ). Very nice. They have given me about an extra 150mm in leg room - I got long legs. So I need a shifter with some bend.

How do you find that reverse lock out action?

Thoughts? Thank, Md

I have Bug-tech shifter in my beetle nice n tight very short throw. I chose slight bend and custom powder coat, which the colour is more yellow then I wanted but still very well made. Reverse is not the easiest to get with the tension on the springs as deliverd I just backed mine off enough to get reverse easier. The reverse would be easy in a LHD car as you pull towards instead of pushing away from you. Markus is great to deal with just make sure you tell him we don't have to pay the VAT and he should give you a shipping code instead works out to free shipping.
