66 beetle with 1500
Ok, I have a 66 beetle and a 1500 engine. The motor needs to be rebuilt, my question is, what would be the best set up for it. What cam, pot and
pitons, what push rods tubes and lifters, carbs, dizzy, looking at doing all the work myself and would be helpful to know what others have done or
used.

It came out originally with a 1300, so a 1500 is already a considerable improve.

Hi all. Yes I have got the original 1300 but looking at something BIGGER, lol. Can I use 1641 pots and pistons with the standard single port heads?
And yes it is converted to 12volt.
