Fitting Kadron Manifolds to Twin Port Type 1 motor

The Kadron manifolds for a twin port motor dont have the hole for the locating lug on the heads that the original banana manifolds do.
Should I grind the locating lug in the heads down or drill a hole in the aluminium manifold?

A good set of multi grips should be able to pull the pin out.

That is what I did.

Thanks Bizarre. Removed them with vice grips after freeing them up with a hammer.
