1500 single port

Hello all. I have a 1500 single port engine that needs a rebuild, can I put 1600 pistons and cylinders on it and still run the same heads? Do I need to change anything else other than the pistons and pots? I what carb should I be running, would like to keep it looking close to standard. Regards Gary

Yes you can fit the pistons and barrels with the single port heads,I currently run one in my 6v Ghia with an S&S header system with twin mufflers with the standard carb rejetted to suit. Performance is quite good & it will cruise at 110kph if I want to but my "boy racer" days are long gone and now I just enjoy driving the little car.
