Hi From South africa

Hi Guys!

Just popping in to say hello and i'm enjoying your forum. I am from south africa and a vanagon, "microbus/caravelle T3" fan.

Will be looking for a T3 soon again and do a Alfa Romeo 4cyl twincam engine conversion out a early 80's gtv.
Cant wait to be part of the Family again.

Thanks guys:tu:
Enjoy reading what you guys are up to and your experiences with T3's. love the suby conversions you do that side of the world. They are extremely difficult here as finding poeple to do wiring and o.e ecu's are basicly impossible.
I know about a couple ej25 conversions being done, but mostly aftermarket ecu's wich never works 100% with the suby.

Golf 2.0 conversions are as common as bread here, and they install them upright. Seems to last longer that way.

I have decided to use the alfa twincam,as it will be one of two that we know of. Not most feul efficient, but strong and sounds soooo good. There are a few alfa v6 busses running, one of them a bay bus with 24v 3.0v6. Goes like stink!
