Hubcap and strip ID help?
Hi All,
I am making plans to build a Beetle to replicate a '71 Superbug my partners grandmother bought new in '71.
I am new to Beetles, but not car restoration.
My first questions relate to the stripes and hubcaps on this car.
Does anyone know what these hubcaps are called?
Is it likely the stripes were dealer fitted, or was this part of a standard dress up kit or special edition?

They are dealership accessories.
I actually still have the original dealership accessories broshure that came with mine which has both of those in it.
THe mini Fuchs hubcaps turn up every so often at swapmeets.

The stripe kit in it is a little different to yours but I imagine they probably had a couple of designs.
