Gearbox leak
Have noticed after I drive the car sometimes it has a leak from the gearbox once it's been parked.
Took a photo of it. Looks like it's around the drain plug?
Any tips on how to fix this.
Going to get it up on a hoist in the next few weeks and give it all a good clean down then drain the box and change oil.
Just not sure if the box should come out and have seals replaced?

try this
wouldnt say its drain plug as that would be the only thing covered as you said get the jet washer on it and take for a drive then inspect to find

That would be the nosecone seal leaking. Could be the hockey stick but looks more like the nosecone.
Not possible to do in situ as the studs won't allow you enough room to pull the nosecone off towards the floorpan.

I reckon once you give it a good clean you'll spot 3 small holes in a vertical pattern on that front side of the transmission. I bet oil is leaking
from one of those holes, i had the same problem before plugging them up with small rubber stoppers. Check halfway down this link to see a pic of what
i mean. The plugs are #6 in the diagram.

Yep, as said above, could be the shift rod seal/bush (most likely IMO), the alloy plugs or the nose cone-intermediate housing joint leaking.
Or it could be over-filled and be leaking from the breather which is also in the same area. Check your oil level in the trans and give it a degrease
to then drive and inspect.

Thanks guys for the tips.
Going to give it a good clean. Drain and change the oil the. Try to find where it is leaking from.
Hoping it's something simple like the missing plugs or being over filled.
