Specific measurments of 90.5mm cylinders

I am looking at a set of 1776 cylinders and pistons. I understand they come in thin walled 'slip in' and thick walled that require fly cutting of the heads and case.

I want the thick walled version. If I look at this set, I know the internal size needs to be 90.5mm, and I have a digital caliper to measure this. What I want to know is how to check if they are thin or thick walled by the outside measurement of the cylinder wall. I am assuming there is a substantial difference, and I will be able to check with my caliper easily.

Also if I am checking the pistons, which will be 90.5mm diameter obviously, how do I check if they are for standard crank stroke? is there different gudgen pin heights depending on what stroke, or is it just a rod length?

Being 1776 I am pretty sure they will be 90.5 thick wall with stock stroke, but I am trying to see if there is a basic measurement to make sure they are what they are meant to be. However the seller cannot be sure at this stage.
