Fitting rear seat belts 1969 beetle

Does anyone have any advice or a link to a guide on installing seat belts to the rear of 69 beetle. Would eventually like to be able to take the kids for a spin when the old girls finished.

Thanks Ryan

Static lap sash belts will bolt straight in to the factory mounts. If you want to fit inertia reels, the reel will need to be mounted to the floor of the rear luggage area and a suitable strengthening plate fitted underneath to stop the mounting bolts pulling through in the event of an accident. If you want to go this way, I suggest you ring Bill at Talk Torque Automotive to get the exact details. Bill is a VASS engineer and a VW guy. Hemco in Ballarat can supply seat belts to suit a VW (they do colours too)
Cheers..........Wayne

Awesome, Thanks heaps Wayne. Might be worth calling Bill as I'd prefer it be done correctly considering who'll be sitting there.

Thanks again mate much appreciated. Ryan
