My Dad and I fully stripped and reconditioned this beauty in our home garage. It hurts to sell, however need cash injection to fund travel and she
needs a loving home (its a girl and her name’s Sandy ) She’s
extremely well maintained for one of the last Type 3 1600 fastback models and is a guaranteed head turner. Wish I had a dollar for every old dude
telling me stories about “back in the day when they had one” and the young guys that gawk in awe It’s a once in a lifetime score!!!
- Only 2 longtime owners
- Last of the original fuel injection systems
- Recently stripped to bare metal and completely resprayed. 4 small bubbles have emerged since at the base of rails (see below)
- Brand new interior- resprung and upholstered front and back seats, carpet throughout, door panels, headliner, visors, revinyled dash board, original
under dash tray
- Brand new door and window seals with original chrome moulding
- Rechromed front and back bumper bars
- Functioning seat belts for all seats
- Brand new front safety glass windscreen, replaced rear windscreen, front and corner windows, original back seat flex windows
- Spacious carpeted back and front storage boots
