Royal Red L30a?
Anyone have a car in this colour? Can you post some pics please?
It was also Konig Rot or Kings Red.

Not a common colour in Australia; reds were comparitively unpopular here. Kings Red was only available 1968-70, probably replaced by the new range of
Nissan colours under the local assembly arrangements.
The Australian Dulux colour code was 11234, while VWA's codes were 308 (1968-69) and 17 (1970). 'L30a' code was not used in Australia; however
there was a listed 'L30c', Malaga Red, for imported Golfs/Passats in 1978.

yeah malaga red and royal red are similar but royal red looks a touch darker
