Ez 30 vs Ej25 ground clearance

Does the EZ30 sit lower sump wise compared to a EJ motor (which can be easily fixed with a short sump) as I'm told the EZ cant have the short sump trick! I just haven't got access to a EZ engine at present to compare.

Based on these pics they appear to have very different sump designs.

The EZ30 doesn't appear to need a shortened sump.
