CAR TRANSPORT running or not

g'day volks,

I recently bought a car from interstate, and found it difficult to find a car transporter that would pick up a car that didn't run.

And the car was located in a rural area.

no i'm not going to tell you what it was, you'll find out when i've restored it!

anywho,
I spent the better part of 3 whole days calling every car carrier etc. and they all quoted me ridiculous prices, like 10 times what the car was worth!

well i can assure you that I found a guy who will pick it up rolling or not, and deliver it to your door, for a reasonable price.

no this is not a plug for my business or a mate's, i just think when you find a good service you spread the word via "word of mouth",And it opens up so many possibilities if you see a car online, a couple of thousand kilometers away, and think "i want that", at least you can get a price for the transport, and factor that into the cost.

so if you want to know who i use ( for the past 2 cars and counting...), e-mail me, and i'll pass on the company details,

rural, outskirts of brisbane

to adelaide fringe / hills

door to door

750,

cheaper for 2nd car

2 hrs out of melbourne to adelaide

door to door

500 ish

Also said if i picked up two cars i'd get up to 20% off depending...

don't forget these cars were rollers, not running!

lowest quote from major carriers rural brisbane to adelaide was 1600, and they required car to be running, or have a loading ramp... most expensive was 2800!!!
