gear box
hello all
i have a 72 bug that has a problem selecting 1st and 2nd
now should i look at the selector coupling or is it more likely gearbox syncro between the gears
if the latter how easy to do myself or what am i looking at money wise

Sounds more like n adjustment at the shifter base to move it across a bit.

Try loosening off the bolts, select 2nd / 1st gear, then tighten back up again.
