A reliable workshop?

Hi guys,
I am looking for a reliable workshop specialising in air-cooled VWs that can do a really good job of freshening up and upgrading my Manx. The idea is to hand them over my buggy with its new Type 4 engine (built overseas) and ask them to take it apart to perform a comprehensive overhaul: repainting the body, roll-cage and chassis, refurbishing and repainting the brake calipers, modifying the suspension, installing the new engine... the lot!
I am looking for a workshop that has been around for several years, and is located in (or close to) Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. If you have had a good experience with a workshop that handled a similar project for you, please let me know. And if you have had a bad (or not so good) experience with a workshop that you think I should avoid, let me know by P.M. please!
Thanks!

I live in New Caledonia, and I will stop over in Australia from time to time when I am in transit, so ideally the shop should be located not too far from Sydney (1st priority), Melbourne (2nd priority) or Brisbane airports, so that I do not have to pay hundreds of dollars in taxi fare just to get there. When I have found a good workshop, I will have the buggy shipped over there.
BTW, how can I get notified by e-mail that there has been an answer in this discussion, or that I have a PM? I have ticked "receive e-mail on reply", but it does not seem to be working.

WOW... thats a tough set of criteria.

Given them conditions - I would suggest Vintage Vee Dub Supplies at Campsie (9789 1777) - less than 10kms from the International Airport

Thanks to all of you for the advice and help; now I am getting notifications when there is a new post. I'll make sure to check out Vintage Vee Dub Supplies in Campsie. Any other suggestions regarding workshops?
