Getting door hinges off. 1960 beetle
Hi all probably covered many times, I've wd40 the hinges hammered with a Phillips screw driver, I will heat after they come off .
But I'm looking to borrow or buy one of those hammer ratchets to get the screws loose? Any suggestions ?
Or other ways?
Cheers Brendon

Pity you lost my phone #.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Yea, an air ratchet gun normally does the trick so an impact driver in reverse should work too. The hand held impact driver that you twat with a lump
hammer needs to be a good quality one cos the Supershite ones may loosen a hinge before being a paperweight
madness is in the eye of the beholder

I've got the vice grips on the screwdriver, and turned it while bashing the end of the screw driver - got a few out - the rest i drilled and used an
'Easy-Out'
