QLD buggy friendly nsw rego inspector


okay so the move is on need to find a buggy friendly inspector as my qld regoed buggy will be going to southern nsw ............. anyone point me in the right direction

I've lived in NSW for about 6 years now, and my buggy is still regoed in QLD because I couldn't find anyone.

Qld = BIG = have a vw friendly mobile guy at Wivenhoe...

poss only works if you have old paperwork or even old regosticker from nsw

is it Baja or B/buggy?




want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

its regoed in qld still i drive it everyday but never regoed in NSW but thats where it is going

Speak with the RTA in NSW , as I'm pretty confident that it will just need to pass a pink slip as it has been registered in another state for over 12 months , ie they can't knock it back

You will find it hard. It will need an engineer to certify it, that shouldn't be a problem as it has been registered for more than 2 years in another state.
You may get lucky and find a blue slip guy that interprets the rules differently and will pass it.
It really is a grey area and most will ask for an engineers certificate.
Where are you moving too?
