Yay - It's alive!
Hi all,
I just wanted to tell the world that the VW Beetle that I purchased a few weeks ago runs. Well the engine runs.
It is leaking fuel everywhere but it idles great!
I now need to buy some new hoses and gaskets.
Lovin' the bug so far.

I have just ordered a crapload of bits. I will take some video when I change the fuel hoses out and replace the fuel pump gasket.

Congratulations and while you are getting fuel hoses, make sure the filter is not in the engine bay.
