[SOLD] 1968 Beetle 1500, white
1968 Beetle 1500 in fair condition.
Looking for $8,500 but am open to reasonable offers.
9 months rego, located in Camden, NSW, just south of Sydney.
Very reliable. Currently used for my daily commute but have now got access to a company car so need to sell.
Had a heap of work done pre-rego, including;
Work by VW specialist panel beater, Elite Body Repairs;
- All structural rust professionally removed, new steel welded in and paint colour matched. (new heater channels, new base of door pillars, new base
of B pillars, new drivers side gutter)
- New 1/4 floor panel under drivers seat and battery
- Floorpans rust proofed
Work by VW specialist mechanic, Custom Bugs and Buses;
- New muffler and tail pipes
- New discs and brake pads
- New rear axle boots
- New tail light lenses and light bulbs
- New running boards
Electrics @ G&C Auto Electrics, Camden;
- New Speedo cable and cap
- new earth for rear light cluster.
It comes with the vehicles original service log and some previous owner history. The car was originally an inland/country car from Canberra and came
to Sydney in the late 2000's
Head liner and internal upholstery are in good condition, carpets throughout, front seats have been replaced with recaro style street buckets, has an
aftermarket JVC CD player that is USB and iPhone compatible and 4 speakers.
For it to be considered Very Good condition it would need;
- some body work (see pics)
- new door cards
- some plastic trim items - quarter window knobs, front window vents rubber strips on bumpers

Hi Bugzla,
Do you mean the front seats? They are on the original sliders.
rear child restraints were fitted by an authorised RMS fitter.
