79 Kombi reverse lockout plate
Could someone please let me know the correct orientation for the reverse lockout plate on a 79 rhd kombi. Gear stick was removed whilst getting
painted so I have no idea if I have it in correctly. Can get all gears but cannot get reverse. Would really appreciate some help before I tear my
hair out.

This is what i used when i was piecing the gear shift assembly for my beetle - trust the kombi is the same
