CB Steering Wheel

I have got all the stuff that I put away years ago with the steering wheel and I found this cancelling plate. It has 2 small screws to attach it to the back of the wheel. When the column is in position,it doesn't look like it can do anything. Was there a CB specific flasher switch with a cancelling set up?

For a Bug or Kombi? Looks like a wheel for a basic model Kombi. Hence it probably came with whatever was necessary for the self cancelling indicator. The cancellation tab normally would sit inside the columns tube and hit a tab in the indicator stalk.

Maybe have a look on the Samba and ask there as being CB they should have a better idea of what it is and what extra parts you need.
